A useful view before you book.
This hotel, with its stylish atmosphere and 140-year history, is located in the heart of the city on Lienz's central square, about 500 m from the nearest public transport stop. The red wine-coloured Bürgerhaus restaurant, directly opposite the Liebburg town hall, is one of the top addresses in the region. Guests can look forward to a fine holiday in these dignified and hearty surroundings. The beautiful old town offers variety for every taste with its countless cafes, bars, excellent restaurants, and hotels in addition to boutiques, shops, and souvenir outlets, and the city is a meeting-place with its garden cafes, open-air summer concerts, and nightclubs. A touch of the South can be felt in this little city in the Dolomites; far from the main tourist areas it offers perfect conditions for relaxing breaks and a wide range of excursions in summer as in winter. The charming hotel comprises a total of 50 rooms over six floors. Facilities on offer include a welcoming foyer with reception desk and top-class service. The hotel bar is the ideal place to relax with a drink after a hectic day, while the exquisite restaurant is acclaimed for its wines, not surprising since the chef is a sommelier (wine expert). No culinary desire will go unfulfilled here. The cosy and tastefully designed rooms include an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a minibar/ fridge, and a hire safe. Guests can relax in the on-site indoor swimming pool and sauna.
